Carey Baker and her husband, Brett, launched Part-Time Pros in March of 2008 aimed at giving professionals flexibility in the workplace, filling a much-needed niche in the Tulsa area. Six years later, their innovative business continues to grow and has been renamed ProRecruiters to better represent the broad range of their services.
In 2012, Carey wrote her first book “Hire a Pro/Be a Pro” to offer advice on how to hire and keep the best employees, as well as, how to be the employee that companies want to keep. In addition, Carey won a Tulsey Award in 2012 for her commitment to entrepreneurism.
Prior to opening ProRecruiters, Carey worked for Chapman Foundations Management, Advisory Board Company and The Williams Companies.

Prior to opening ProRecruiters, Brett was a Tulsa Firefighter, and a Mortgage Loan officer.
Experienced Human Resources executive with a demonstrated history of 40 years of work in the construction and aerospace industries plus work with non-profit agencies. Skilled as Ethics Officer, EEO/AA compliance, Compensation, Talent Management, Succession Planning and 401k and welfare plans administration. Strong professional experiences leading Operations, Safety, Marketing and Equipment Management departments in addition to Human Resources. Master of Science from University of Missouri-Columbia, College of Business.
Susan is a Talent Acquisitions and Human Resources Leader with experience in areas ranging from technical/non-technical recruiting and strategic sourcing to process improvement and project management. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Post –Secondary Education from Oklahoma State University. She is a focused professional, committed to excellence, delivering quality service and delighting the customers and candidates.
Becky has recently joined the ProRecruiters team. She has over 20 years of staffing experience ranging from Construction, Manufacturing, Retail and in the Oil and Gas Industry. She finds it rewarding finding the perfect candidate to fit our clients needs.
Katie, a native Tulsan, is an accounting professional with 10 years of experience managing the financial operations of small businesses. She graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. She strives to provide efficiency and the highest quality product in her field of expertise.
Brittany is a graduate from the University of Houston-Clear Lake with a major in Human Resource Management. She enjoys helping people find their purpose in work and at home. She has a background in customer service & financial services. She is excited to be a part of the ProRecruiters team and help candidates find the perfect match that lasts.
Michelle is passionate about serving others. She has an extensive background in the human services field and has a degree in Human Relations. She has a diverse work history in clinical office settings, in non-profit management, and in case management services. She is excited to be of assistance to the team at ProRecruiters, and looks forward to helping others with their professional goals that lead to a rewarding and happy personal life.
