Position: Machinist

Location: Broken Arrow, OK

Pay: $20 to $35/hourr (+$3/hour for working the night shift)

Experience: 5 years of related machining experience.

Type: Full-time; Contract  

Schedule:  

1. Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm
2. Monday-Thursday, 3pm-1:30am

ProRecruiters is seeking Machinists to join a growing and dynamic team!   

Job Description: 

1. Set up and operate mills and lathes to produce parts to specification.
2. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
3. Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools to make sure they meet quality standards.
4. Make tooling and machine adjustments as needed to keep parts within tolerance.
5. Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
6. Communicate with the lead machinist and supervisors about production status and any issues.
7. Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
8. Work overtime as needed to meet production demands.

Position Requirements:    

1. Basic machining knowledge; mill and lathe setup and operation.
2. Ability to read and use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
3. A good attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
4. Takes pride in their work and is committed to quality.
5. A willingness to learn and grow.
