General Production Associate - Day or Night Shift

Position: General Production Associate

Location: Tulsa, OK

Pay: $17.05 to $17.55/hour

Education: High School diploma or GED (Must be able to provide diploma or GED upon hire)

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Day or Night Shift, 3:00pm to 11:00pm or 11:00pm to 7:00pm (Must be able to work Monday-Sunday)

ProRecruiters is seeking a General Production Associate to join a growing and dynamic team! 

Job Description:

1. Ensure all paperwork is filled in legibly and correctly for the area of responsibility
2. Set up, monitor, and adjust automated machinery to ensure compliance
3. Perform routine equipment repairs
4. Clean, organize, and sanitize the production area and equipment
5. Understand and utilize measurement systems and tools
6. Participate in all team activities and training (e.g., continuous improvement projects, plant safety initiatives, crossovers, stretching, etc.)
7. Understand manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvement
8. Perform safety-sensitive functions and identify, correct, and improve potential safety items; both human and food
9. Report safety violations, hazards, or near misses that you see or become aware of
10. Understand and comply with company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), including head covering, facial hair requirements, gloves, shoes, etc.
11. Complete all required assessments and testing, including Key Performance Indicator (KPI) testing

Position Requirements:   

1. Valid food handler’s card from Tulsa Health Department

Preferred Experience:

1. Understand manufacturing guidelines for food safety and sanitation
2. Experience with set-up and operation of automated batch processing system
3. Experience with set-up and operation of packaging machinery
4. Demonstrated problem-solving ability
5. Proven safety record in past work history
