$19/hour | Receiving Specialist | AM Shift

Position: Receiving Specialist 

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Pay: $19/hour

Experience:  

1. Previous receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred, especially in a manufacturing environment.
2. Forklift experience preferred.

Type: Full-time; Contract  

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00am to 4:30pm

ProRecruiters is seeking a Receiving Specialist to join a growing and dynamic team!   

Job Description: 

1. Receive and unload incoming shipments of parts, materials, and supplies.
2. Compare shipments against purchase orders and packing slips to verify quantities, part numbers, and descriptions.
3. Inspect incoming materials for visible damage and report shortages, discrepancies, or incorrect items.
4. Accurately enter receipts into the inventory or ERP system and maintain receiving documentation.
5. Label and organize materials in designated storage locations.
6. Coordinate with purchasing, quality, and production teams to resolve receiving issues and prioritize needed materials.
7. Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment when trained and authorized.
8. Assist with cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and material movement throughout the facility.

Position Requirements:    

1. Basic computer skills; experience with an ERP or inventory-management system is a plus.
2. Ability to read and interpret purchase orders, packing slips, and part numbers.
3. Strong attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills.
4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
5. Strong organizational and communication skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple deliveries and changing priorities.
